This Conflict Minerals Due Diligence Policy applies to Jiangxi Wisevision Optronics Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Wisevision Technology Co., Ltd. The scope of conflict minerals includes but is not limited to Tungsten (W), Tin (Sn), Tantalum (Ta), Gold (Au), and is extended to raw materials or products containing Cobalt (Co) and Mica.
To achieve this goal, we hereby make the following commitments:
In accordance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, guiding principles and frameworks, we shall establish an internal management system that supports supply chain due diligence regarding the sources of conflict minerals throughout the entire supply chain.
We require suppliers to fulfill their social and environmental responsibilities, conduct due diligence on the sources of metals that they use, and ensure that their supplied products, parts and components are free from risks related to conflict mineral in the supply chain. Suppliers shall submit the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT), and guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, relevance, legality and completeness of all information, responses and documents. Wisevision commits to identifying and managing the following risks in supply chain operations: human rights violations or serious human rights violations related to mineral extraction, transportation, trade or processing; direct or indirect support to non-state armed groups; public or private security forces; bribery and misrepresentation of mineral origins; money laundering; and irregularities concerning taxes, fees and royalties paid to governments.
We will not tolerate any direct or indirect support provided to non-state armed groups through the extraction, transportation, trade, processing or export of minerals. If there is any change in the source of conflict mineral raw materials, or if any red flags indicate potential risks involving conflict minerals in the supply chain of supplied products, parts or components, Wisevision shall cooperate with follow-up due diligence activities and mitigate the identified risks within a reasonable timeframe.
We will conduct regularly reviews of suppliers, verify the evidence obtained from supply chain risk assessments, and trace the origins of conflict minerals contained in products. Information verification methods include but are not limited to interviews, on-site inspections and document reviews, so as to evaluate conflict mineral related risks across the supply chain.
We will continuously improve transparency mechanisms, regularly update progress on conflict mineral traceability and risk management, actively disclose conflict mineral due diligence results, and remain committed to rigorous supply chain management on an ongoing basis.
